Popped in this lunchtime to try out this highly-rated place. I can see why it is so well-regarded. Prompt service, with a smile, and always quick to tidy away tables after folks leave and wipe them all down. Superb coffee and cake, one of the best coffees I’ve had in ages. Full of flavour, hot (but not scolding) and milk heated perfectly. Didn’t even need sugar! Generous size cake (all on display were a decent size!) and wonderfully fresh. A real rich custard to the millefeuille. A great welcoming atmosphere. Warm, comfy chairs and pleasant decor, with ambient music. Honestly, you could sit there for ages just relaxing. I’ll be sure to pop in each time I’m back in North Finchley.

This is a lovely and quiet patisserie in North Finchley that has plenty of seating and a large variety of freshly prepared sweet and savoury food, hot and cold beverages and all served with a smile. Never had any issues over the years and always had an amazing experience.

The food was absolutely lovely, we had breakfast with salmon and scrambled eggs on a very nice slice of toasted bread and we also ordered a nice fresh booster juice from fresh fruits. The manager was super nice, polite and friendly, and very helpful. Unfortunately, we can not say the same about the girl who also served us. She was very serious and quite a mean look. Maybe she had a bad day but that should never be an excuse as this is her job and customers like us who comes to pay money here they want to enjoy not just the food but the environment too. The place was clean and nice. We will return here and hopefully the next experience to be a little better.

Great, cozy spot. It is quiet so I enjoy reading my book in peace. Also the food was good. I had a smoothie which was the best for such a hot day.
